This is the story about Davide and Marco. They have been friends since they were 3 years old, and although they took different roads at times, they found each other again during college. Since then, they began their journey into the world of wine.
Their wines are made simply by spontaneously fermented grapes. They don’t add anything else, no clarifying agents or filtration. Residual lees and grape skins are indicators of a genuine and natural process, necessary to keep the wines alive.
Lammidia Flamingo Field Blend 2020 is a natural wine from Abruzzo, Central Italy, made from a blend of 10 different grape varietals farmed sustainably. Native yeasts, spontaneous fermentation, no added sulfites. Uva e basta! (which means 100% grape)
Tasting Notes: Racy acidity glosses pomegranate, red currant, wild strawberry, elderflower liqueur, light black tea tannins. Cranberries underscore the hazelnut finish.
Food matches: very good with mixed starters of both land and fish; also excellent as an aperitif infront of the sea!
