Almost all of Eric Kamm's wines are characterised by the granite soil (here plus some silt) in Dambach. The granite gives this Riesling a kind of straightness, minerality and typical lemon vibes with acidity. The silt gives it more backbone and power.
Eric's Riesling vines are up to 100 years old and were planted by his grandfather. It's distinguished by aromatic herbs, pear pulp and tropical fruits accents, with mineral features that remember graphite and rock sensations. Sharp, salty and flowing, of great acid shoulder and long lasting persistence.
By the way: to enjoy an artisanal wine at its best, we recommend you to let it 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving.
