Alice Bouvot has been making phenomenal wine at her Arbois-based l'Octavin winery for some time now - focussing on carefully grown and handled grapes, indigenous yeast fermentation, and no fining, filtering, or sulphur additions.
The Muscat grown for this cuvée is made up of two varieties (Muscat a Petit Grains and Muscat d'Alexandrie) grown by Vincent Lafage from Saint-Jean Lasseille in Roussillon. Each variety is vinified separately (with approximately 15 days on skins), textural and aromatic, this is an absolute delight.
A wine of intense perfume and great freshness, with lots of Lychee ! Tropical mango🥭 pineapple🍍& peachy 🍑 vibes in this one and a stunning 4.4/5 on Vivino
