100% Fiano from vines with an average age of 40 to 60 years old, located in Lapio, within the “Fiano di Avellino” appellation at 500-550 meters altitude. After the harvest by hand in late September, the juice remains in contact with the skins for about two days, adding complexity and texture. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged for seven months in steel and ceramic amphorae. Perfect to pair with anchovies, fresh cheeses, shellfish and white meats. The wine is rich yet still fresh, with juicy fruit and floral and balsamic notes.
"The aromatics of the 2022 Bianco Ognostro can be sensed a foot away from the glass, exotic and slightly tropical. Swirling evokes candied ginger, sizzling embers, sour melon and crushed dried flower aromas. It envelopes the palate with silky textural fruits, tart apples and nectarine. Zesty acidity adds energy, and saline minerals slowly saturate. This finishes with incredible length, leaving a citrusy concentration and sensation of liquid florals that resonates. The 2021 provides such a wonderfully unique yet fully satisfying experience.

The Ognostro Bianco is a varietal Fiano. As of 2022, Marco Tinessa increased the amount of amphora aging for his white, now a combiation of 30% amphora, 35% concrete and 35% stainless steel.
