Frank Cornelissen needs no introduction.
Born and raised in our hometown Hasselt but in the meantime grew into one of the biggest icons within the natural wine movement.
The first bottlings of the classic MunJebel® rosso were made by the amalgamation of two vintages, a concept Frank has always loved, as it gives a better idea of a larger area than a wine from one millésime.
Since he stopped combining millésimes in 2012 in search of more precision, he had somewhat forgotten that old-school evolved style of the first wines. In 2016, he decided to produce another wine in a similar style, applying the perpetual method of great solera wines.
The first edition includes wines from 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019. For the Perpetuum 2, wine from 2020 was added to this.
