Frank Cornelissen needs no introduction.
Born and raised in our hometown Hasselt, but has since become one of the biggest icons within the natural wine movement.
It's mostly a field-blend made in a way that is bright, light and slightly tart with a red cherry, wet stone and earthy tones.
Unlike Frank's more tannic, cru wines like Munjebel range and Magma, Susucaru has a 'mega-gluggable' profile that's difficult not to love on a summer afternoon. However, this 2020 (and 2019) vintage is deeper, and richer than previous vintages.
Tastes like: aromatic bright red berry fruit, dried herbs, white pepper, and a streak of mouthwatering acidity on the finish.
